COLESONDESIGNER/SHAPERStore founder, James Coleson, shaped his first surfboard in the garage of his home with a make shift board stand and limited supplies and knowledge.    Shortly after the death of his father in early 2015, he turn to his passion of surfing and board building to establish his vision.  From the small garage in his home, James expanded his dream and is now a part owner of a large surfboard manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach VA where boards are crafted by hand, on a CNC machine, glassed and distributed to the surf shops on the East Coast.   James personal brand Coleson Customs was established in 2015        ​​        ​FOCUS ON AFFORDABLE SURFBOARDS & APPAREL​  ​Our wide-array of styles & shapes and a commitment to staying current, ensure our customers remain on the cutting edge of the surfing world.  Our only goal is to make you look and feel good. Coleson Customs opened its doors in 2015 and has been making custom hand shaped boards and modern clothing ever since.
